“The Twelve Days of Christmas”
--an appliqué experience!
This will be a Block of the Month activity that will meet
once a month on the 4th Saturday of the month from 9 am
to noon. Come see Shirley’s quilt hanging in the shop! Use
your scraps for lovely accents, but let us provide you with
the background, borders, sashing, and main fabrics, and
patterns (of course). Shirley Larson will give tips, pointers
and lessons (free with participation in this BOM). Your
first block/class will meet July 24!

Dear Jane BOM
Do you want to make a Dear Jane quilt but find yourself intimidated
with fabric selection and choosing the correct technique for each block?

This program is for you! Each month you will receive fabric AND INSTRUCTIONS for 10 quilt blocks. With this block-of-the-month program, a suggested technique and instructions will be provided for
each quilt block; and we’ll pick the fabrics for you as well. Let us know if you need the book (sold separately and required). If you would like to try paper-piecing any of the non-appliqué blocks, we highly recommend the Dear Jane CD (for your computer which we can order for you) where
you have patterns available easily. Since this quilt has 224 quilt blocks, it is a 24-month quilt program and will include border triangle blocks as well as the interior blocks. This group will meet the first Thursday
of each month beginning August 5
Warning: Dear Jane is addicting! Once you start you may not be able to stop!
Fees: $25 start fee & $23 per month
Bring a drink, snacks will be provided!
Please register by July 23 so that we may have the appropriate number of kits/books/CD’s ready for you!

Fireworks” is a new class for all
Introduction to Paper Piecing using the “Fireworks!” pattern by Nancy Smith and Lynda Milligan of Possibilities. What an impressive quilt to make for a beginner or a more experienced paper-piecer!
This class will be offered over 2 class periods,
September 14 and 28, from 6:30 to 9 pm each evening.
Fee: $20

Mary Ellen’s Jacket Class
-- will be offered September 11 & 18 (Saturdays) from 10 am to 4 pm each day. Participants will make a beautiful fitted jacket (no sweatshirt base) with plenty of pizzazz to suit any one!
Class fee is $35
Bring a Pot Luck lunch item each day.
