Continuing Activities

Regular and Recurring Activities begin and end at various times throughout the year. Some activities are best entered at the beginning and others allow entry after they have begun. You should be able to judge your entry based upon the description and time period of the activity as you read through them below.

Free Block Day

Current FREE BLOCK DAY started in Jan. 2010 and will end in Dec. 2010. New FREE BLOCK DAY journey will begin in Jan. 2011.

Begin your journey in FREE BLOCK DAY with a startup fee of $10. Each successive month will be free as long as you bring in your completed block on the 3rd Saturday of each month (or the Friday or Monday before and after that date) to show your finished block and to pick up the free one for the new month. If you are unable to complete the block, or if you neglect to bring in your completed block on the appointed days, you may purchase the new

month’s edition for a fee of $5. If weather, illness or some other event keeps you away on the appointed days, please call ahead of time or on that Saturday (phone number listed above) to let me know you will be late bringing in your finished block, but it must be brought in before closing on the following (4th) Saturday. At the end of the year the blocks will fit together to make a "Mystery Quilt".

Row of the Month

Row of the Month quilt is moving along. There are still a few packets from beginning through now for this program.
Registration fee: $5
Monthly row fee: $10.50

Scrap Pot Pie

This activity will begin in October on the 2nd Saturday of the month (First meeting = 10/9/10) from Noon to 4 PM. Matt is having a great time leading this activity and the ladies certainly enjoy his enthusiasm! During this activity participants will be able to cut their scraps for a quilt top and begin the piecing process.

Fee: $15 per month

Block Swappers

Block Swappers’ Nine-Patch will finish up in August.

The program will continue with the new block -- “Bow Tie”, a block swap using 30’s/40’s reproductions. Now is the time to join this very popular group! This program continues the 1st Saturday of each month starting in September.

We require a minimum of 12 participants.

Fee: $5 registration
